REPURPOSED KUFFIYA WATERMELON CREWNECK

An architectural study in reclaimed textiles and high-density thread engineering. The centerpiece translates the historic symbol of Palestinian persistence into a physical artifact, constructed by hand-cutting and raw-edge appliquéing authentic woven kuffiya cloth directly into the chest profile.

Each garment utilizes genuine patterned textile underlays—incorporating traditional black-and-white fishnet weave on the Black colorway, and red-and-white heritage weave on the Heather Gray. The watermelon motif is secured with heavy-gauge, multi-pass satin perimeter stitching, framed by a distressed fringe edge designed to fray naturally over time with wear and washing.

Bisecting the emblem is high-density Old English 'PALESTINE' typography, digitized in-house and executed via industrial Tajima multi-needle embroidery using high-luster Fil-Tec Glide trilobal thread. Finished with Old English embroidery reading "END THE OCCUPATION" along the lower rear waistband and "CULTURE IS RESISTANCE" framing the front hem.

Designed, digitized, embroidered, and bench-audited in-house in San Diego, California. Due to the authentic hand-cut nature of the repurposed kuffiya yardage, no two textile orientations are identical.

• Production Model: Every garment is strictly made to order in our San Diego studio within a limited 100-piece batch cap.

• Order Window: Open for a limited production window.

• Manufacturing Phase: 3–4 weeks for custom milling, dye bath, and cut-and-sew assembly.

• Production & Embroidery (Weeks 1–3): Fabric pattern cutting, and commercial multi-needle machine embroidery.

• Finishing & Quality Audit (Weeks 4–6): Individual thread trimming, sewn neck label attachment, hand inspection, and packaging.

• Strict Final Sale Policy: Because each garment is custom-built and individually embroidered upon order placement, all sales are strictly final. Once your order is submitted, fabric allocations and machine scheduling begin immediately; we do not accept cancellations, refunds, returns, or size exchanges.

• TEXTILE APPLIQUÉ: Hand-cut, repurposed authentic woven kuffiya cloth
  - Black Colorway: Authentic Black/White Kuffiya Weave
  - Heather Gray: Authentic Red/White Kuffiya Weave
• TEXTILE: 16.0 oz / 540 GSM Heavyweight 100% combed cotton fleece, engineered for high structural drape, dense surface stabilization, and prolonged thermal durability.
• HEM EMBELLISHMENT: Old English embroidery across lower hem waistband ("END THE OCCUPATION" // "CULTURE IS RESISTANCE").
• SILHOUETTE & FIT: Modern architectural boxy silhouette. True to size with relaxed torso volume, dropped shoulders, and heavy-duty ribbed collar and hem.
• SEAM ARCHITECTURE: Precision side-seam and coverstitch assembly designed to eliminate garment torque and maintain structural memory across repeated wear.
• MATERIAL FINISH: Brushed interior fleece for tactile luxury, paired with an ultra-smooth exterior face treated for zero surface pilling.
• ORIGIN & PROVENANCE: Cut & sewn from premium heavyweight combed cotton fleece; embroidered, finished, and inspected in-house at TM Design Lab in San Diego, CA.
• CARE PROTOCOL: Machine wash cold inside out with like colors. Hang dry or tumble dry low to preserve thread tension and fleece density.

TM Design Lab and TM Sonic Lab operate under complete vertical self-sufficiency. There are no outsourced third-party agencies, overseas digitizing clearinghouses, or print-on-demand intermediaries. Every deliverable across the visual, sonic, and textile catalog is authored and executed end-to-end by a single creator.

By commissioning Commission 01, you are funding a closed-loop piece of physical and sonic culture—cut, tracked, stitched, and verified by the artist.

DROP ARCHITECTURE • EXCLUSIVE ALLOCATION

How the 100-Unit Cap Works

Every collection we release operates under a strict, non-negotiable 100 total unit cap across the entire drop. This is not 100 units per style—it is 100 total sales combined across the collection.

True Design Rarity Because the 100 units are distributed across all catalog designs, each individual piece becomes exceptionally rare. For example, if only five people order a specific crewneck design during the drop, those five people are the only individuals worldwide who will own it.
Subsequent Drops & Commission Cycles Once all 100 pieces from Commission 01 are cut, embroidered, inspected, and safely delivered to our collectors, we will announce the official drop date for Commission 02. Each subsequent drop will feature new original artwork alongside select returning designs, maintaining the exact same 100-unit global limit.
Drops always remain strictly capped at 100 units to guarantee personal craftsmanship, prevent mass reproduction, and honor the collectors who support the work.
